If I had one complaint about the Mojave so far, it would actually be the annoying glare from the Hood. All the curves on the hood pretty much guarantee that the sun is reflecting in your face most of the time. However, I recently got my truck tinted after putting it off for almost a year. Long story short, I highly recommend using ceramic tint... and I highly recommend adding a light tint to the front windshield. It's basically eliminated the glare and drastically reduced the heat. I was going to go with standard tint, but had a last minute change of heart. I don't even need sunglasses in the car anymore.

I don't have a recommendation for you, but I deal with the glare as well. Mine is coming from the hood hinge depressions almost exclusively. Something about the angle of the hood and where my noggin ends up when I have the seat adjusted. I was thinking about using a flat black decal on the angled parts of the hood above the hinge(s).

Not a Mojave but Sport, I got a black solar panel on hood kills 2 birds with one install.? Keeps batteries charged. In the past I've been tempted to just grab a can of flat spray paint and spray the hood with it.

Funny, but I just got my first dose of hood glare this past weekend. It was pretty severe. I'm thinking the solution would have to be a flat black hood decal or something. Not sure it's worth it as I haven't encountered it that much. Maybe if I were driving to/from work everyday and had to deal with it, then I might consider. Another option would be a hood solar panel...if your going to cover up the hood, may as well generate some power...

Easy fix. I swapped my Mojave hood for a base Sport hood. Just like the look better - I never really encountered the glare on the Mojave hood.

Rubicon here, and yeah.. the glare is no joke.

Ordered a vinyl hood decal that I'm waiting to put on, once the weather cools down a touch (really don't want to be applying it in 100F)

Matte vinyl, such as the one I had on my Renegade Trailhawk.. never knew how much that decal was doing, until it was gone. Lol

It's bad enough on my standard hood... can't imagine how bad it is on the Mojave given my experiences with Tacomas and scooped vs standard hoods.

I'll second @Caspien and say hood decal if you like the look. Highly recommend pixeldecals but I think the lead time is a bit longer than normal right now. Makes the Phoenix sun a lot more bearable but it does grab every speck of dust in a 10ft radius like any matte vinyl will.

I have no glare issues with my Rubicon, but I always wear polarized sunglasses

I fixed my issue with hood glare by folding down the windshield and installing a 6" strip of tint on the lower half. I'm just shy of 6" tall and my seat is all the way lowered and my head still almost hits the roof with a hat on. So I trimmed it with a long section of aluminum as a straight edge and a razor so the cutoff is right to the end of the hood. I still get a tiny amount of glare but I can now ignore it and it isn't blinding.

Still get the occasional "hey! You're windshields upside-down!" But really it's just my rear view mirror that is.... :CWL:

I have very sensitive eyes to glare and wear sunglasses from sun up to sun down sometimes in the house even and I have yet to encounter any glare what so ever in the Mojave.....I hated the glare in the Grand Cherokee it was every where off the interior.... ps a also have a chief edition wrangler has the rubicon hood no glare on that one either
