Have gone through a lot of the posts and see that Redarc is a favorite.
Is the Elite worth spending the extra $80? Or Liberty take care of the daily needs?
Will be using it for a 16-ft trailer and then eventually we're getting a small camper.

My takeaway from reading the differences between the two was if you think you'll be towing offroad or on rough tracks, go with the Elite. If you're just wanting to tow on normal roads, then the Liberty satisfies that need. FWIW, I went with the Liberty.

Thanks for the reply, not much off road towing for me. Ordering the Liberty 👍

I currently have Redarc Elites in both the Gladiator and the Grand Cherokee. Both vehicles tow small (<1500lbs) purpose built, off-road trailers regularly.... on and off-road. Nothing extreme, but definitely more technical than you're likely to get into with a 16ft utility trailer full of gear. I have never even engaged the manual off-road mode that the Elite offers.

I think you'll be fine with the Liberty.
