Replacement backup camera

I have developed a scratch on the lens housing which is causing some distortion, not terrible but maybe an excuse to replace the camera. Anyone done this. Thinking of OEM vs aftermarket. Thoughts.

The Resolution will be a massive step down. This is 550 tv lines. That equates to a resolution of ~650x450 - 750x350 (550*2=1100, then take HeightxWidth to equal 1100). Someone correct me if I'm wrong, vs. our current camera of at least 1080p.

You will likely need to go OEM to get the replacement camera to work with the head unit.

My dealership replaced mine under warranty because of a couple of scratches. I certainly wasn't expecting it to be covered. IIRC, a new camera with bezel was $173 and change from Bam Wholesale Parts. I added a piece of Lamin-X PPF to it this time. The difference in clarity is barely noticeable.

Thanks. Unfortunately out of warranty now so it's all my dime. But looks like easy fix.
