Reading the post about the Nighthawk package made me think about the Mojave that I bought my wife last year for her retirement gift (after 117 years of being an R.N.). We had originally ordered a Wrangler but before it came in, I was surfing the net (this is what retired people do all day) and saw the CRAZY deals they were offering on the Gladiators. Even though we hadn't really considered getting a Gladiator, the deal was simply too good to pass up. I took her to the dealership, and she test drove a Red Rubicon, and a Sarge Green Mojave. I spent too many years in the military I'm thinking, because my whole world would be OD green and desert tan if I had any say in the matter. The biggest thing for her was that she felt the Mojave was a better ride on the highway (if I am doing off-road driving, it's because I took a wrong turn).

I found these "Retirement Edition" badges while surfing the net, once again, at Badgeslide.com. I have one on each side above the front Jeep logo, and one on the rear tailgate. These are discreet and when people do notice them, I have had nothing but positive comments. We haven't had a Jeep since a Liberty that she wanted when they first came out back in 2002. She always has said that has been her favorite car in her life. Now her retirement Jeep (her name is "Olivia"), has taken that place. These Mojaves really are a pleasant driving experience on the road, and we have had zero regrets since purchasing this vehicle.

O.K., I'm not going to lie. When I saw the 2024 Mojave X's, with that Mantis Green interior, I considered trading this one in for one of those but when I ran the numbers and

it just didn't make any sense. I think that interior color combination is something that you either really like, or really don't though. I'm back to "everything in the world should be green I guess." Be safe guys and have a wonderful summer.

Those badges are really cool, I also looked at those for mine when I retire in a few years. Congratulations to your wife in retiring as a nurse, I've been working as a Oncology Nurse for the past 30 years (6/24). I do like the green and would have been my first pick if the one I picked up didn't fall into my lap last summer.

I'm also retired military and have a Sarge Green JTM. The wife would have a Sarge Green JLU if I had my say but I had to settle for Snazzle-berry. I do commend your wife for sticking to the same job for all those years; I had a hard time doing 20+ in the Army.

My Mojave also happens to be my retirement vehicle, but I won't truly get to claim retirement for a few more years (gotta get it paid off).[/QUOTE]

I don't have them installed, but I have the same badge, but says Veteran Edition.

Good looking badge, matches the oem really well.

Nice job !

I retired and bought a Mojave too. 32 years of a company car. I wouldn’t wish for anything else with all the money I saved but I was just as happy to not have to drive one anymore!!! The Mojave is as far from a company car as you can get….plus, I love convertibles.

Very cool on the 30 years in oncology... that's a tough job. My wife worked most of her career on the orthopedic floor and then transitioned into the house supervisor which she seemed to really enjoy. She stayed on P.R.N. after she retired and picks up a couple of days a month which goes into our "Jeep road trip vacation account!"

Congratulations on a retirement edition JTM

I will probably keep trading too often and working until I am dead or crippled. Maybe I should get a Dead or out on FMLA edition in thirty years
