In my mind, the break over for a 20”wheel is a 40”tire.

18s cost more and I believe you’ll have more of an issue finding a C rated tire. You just don’t need a 10 ply E rated tire on these rigs. The most I’d entertain would be a D rated tire, but there are exceptional C rated AT and MT tires.

Ditch the 20s. Also would be curious as to the lift as well.

37x13.5x17 STT Pros here. Run them all day everyday and no issues you speak of. Off-road and on road manners are superb.

Apparently it's a 1.5" Mopar lift....so I'm assuming a front level kit is all.

Whoever is telling you this is either misinformed, or flat out lying.

The only MOPAR lift is a 2" lift with springs all around, front lower control arms, and shocks with sway bar end links front and rear.

I have a stone stock Overland (built 6/19) and frankly, I feel the seats (cloth) are more comfortable and, she rides better than my '19 Grand Cherokee Ltd. which is a nice thing when traveling and towing my travel trailer.

I’m in the over inflated camp. Also, those Coopers if I’m not mistaken are quite heavy.

I roll my 37x12.5x17 at 26 PSI cold.

Somedays they break the 30 PSI barrier..

Eesh,.. if you think it runs harsh and you've had other/older jeeps.. Likely something more going on with it.. I went from a 04 LJ to a Mojave and the thing rides like a caddy.. even cpmpared to a new Subaru Forrester my other half has.. Test drive a new factory gladiator, that may be your best gauge of what to do next.

the LJ had durtracks.. they're great for the first 2500 miles.. even with rotations they suck over time.
With rims like that you're not taking it off road,.. might as well run AT's
