All In all I really enjoy our Gladiator. However, with my build I find my right knee constantly butting up against the lever. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, Is there a remedy? I had ordered the seat extension but read that it actually raises the seat and you'll love even more headroom, which I cant have.

Looking for any kind of solution!

Thanks!

I have the same problem. I use cruise control as often as practicable, which lets me slide my right foot/leg under the gas pedal. Ahhhh! (also improves gas mileage)

I have the same problem. I use ACC whenever possible. I move my right foot around to keep the knee from pushing against the lever.

At 5'11 and 340lbs (powerlifter), I can fit fairly comfortably, but let's just say that I am glad the door securely latches.

Otherwise, it would look like popping open a can of biscuits.

I'm 6'3" and I don't have that problem, or at least I've never noticed it. That seat goes back a long way and gives plenty of leg room to stretch out.

Eh, I got used to it. Rather be smaller outside, I'll put up with the consequences inside. Still more comfortable than my wife's Honda.

I have that problem in a few vehicles. Some piece of trim or another right where my knee rests. Long trips in my wifes honda had me with a small travel pillow for just this issue.

Lo and behold the JT with the prized manual Tcase and my knee hits the damn stick. I grabbed a foam can coozie and dropped it on the shifter. Works so well I havent taken it off

Same issue. It actually only bothers me when I'm off roading and it's obviously in 2wd. Once in 4wd it's out of the way, especially in low range.

Same issue. I actually moved the seat a bit forward to that my knee rests on the console, and am purchasing a small stick-on knee pad for that area. I'm 6'2.

6’2” 34” inseam. Knee used to rest against transfer case lever 100% of the time. Just installed @DesertDoesIt seat jackers and now my thighs/knees are lifted up by the seat which I found reduces my “manspreading” which means that my knee is no longer resting against the lever. When I bought the seat jackers I was expecting better leg support but found that keeping my knees off the door and shift lever a pleasant surprise.

I am a 6' 3" guy with a 22 manual Gladiator suffering from the same issue and I have the solution:
Purchase this center console tray and this small typical car cleaning sponge.
Stick the sponge in the tray and your leg will rest on a comfortable pad while your passenger can use the other pocket. The sponge fits snug enough to not come out, even with your leg off of it and the wind blowing with the doors off. Wrap the sponge in black tights or something for looks.
