Crooked parking-brake lever?

Hi from a new Jeep owner. I’ve had my truck for a few months now, and noticed that the lever for the parking brake is misaligned (or at least, not aligned with the rest of the console). Is that the same on everyone’s truck? Or is mine screwed up? It doesn’t seem to have affected the brake’s function, but I worry about it every time I use the parking brake. Thanks!

My brake lever is perfectly straight and level ... My driveway is very angled though ...

I won't belabor the point and my last comment to this pure crapola..... but no way will you find a JL/JLU 2018-2021 with an "aligned straight" E brake handle.. No way...

So dont worry about it? - I know when I got the JT it was straight but ya after some uses its now no longer straight.

Since nobody has actually addressed this, I will try to do so. It's crooked so that when you put it in 4 low its not in the way.

To OP, hopefully you vacuumed that mess up. Geez, Gladiators are supposed to be pristine.

That's the way they come and it annoys the absolute piss out of me. LOL

Mine is only a month old and it’s just as crooked as the ones in the pics. I noticed it before seeing this thread, trying to forget about it lol.

The emergency brake handle is designed to be off to the side to allow clearance for the 4X4 shifter when shifted to 4X4 low.
