Anybody can explain to me how access spare by lifting the bed floor is a thing? Am I supposed to unload everything if I need to replace the tire?

And why would you have buttons on top of the bed side? no caps for rivian, i guess?

Hack to disable "gear door open - no moving", mount a seat on each side with a machine gun.

To be clear, I'm all for technology and it's great to see new companies enter the fray and hopefully drive innovation. This is just more of a "outdoor enthusiast" truck rather than "do anything (including Home Depot runs)" truck

Edit: ...and the Lightning creators thought the frunk situation better - easier access, given how high modern day fronts are.

At the beginning of the video they start on North Fork Swan trail in Breck CO... I recognize that "chute" any day We went down it rather than up... I'd choose the up direction any day over down given that one section of roots is so close when you're leaning

I saw a Rivian out in the wild a few weeks ago. The wheel size looks even bigger in person than in pictures. The truck definitely stood out.

Seeing one in the wild I guess is a benefit of living in otherwise POS California.
