RLD Bed Cap

Finally installed my RLD bed cap that has been sitting in my drive way for almost a month. Had to wait on new trail rail system, first set had a broken tab. Wanted to wait to install after summer was over but the wife was like your not storing it in the garage lol.

@dutch7 - I got my RLD last November (21) and love it. I installed a EZ Rec Rack to carry our kayaks.

the side doors size are very convenient for accessing stuff in the back of the bed

While not cheap, I’ve been completely happy with mine.

As for likes- strength of the canopy
- access- door size makes for great convenience
- air flow is fine for my bird dog w/ the windows I have
- quality of build

dislikes- locks have frozen on me
- condensation occurs at times as it’s not lined
- cost, but I’m cheap.
- Delivery time. This may have changed, but ordered in Jul 21, received late Nov 21

@Tanners Owner - thanks for the review. All points are understood and locks freeze on all toppers, condensation... haven't thought about that since 1975 when I slept under an aluminum truck topper in November, it was raining inside at one point during the night! Cost is certainly an issue or concern for me as well. 6 months is what the fiberglass guys are quoting as lead time.
