Roadmaster Even-Brake Install on 2024 Mojave - Key Fob Interference

This is a pretty much straight forward install following instructions except I ran into a small issue. The Even-Brake ICX transmitter interferes with the key fob. Since the Gladiator flat-tows with the ignition off the ICX needs power directly from a live 12v source. The best way is to wire it using an Aux switch or a separate 12v switch so the ICX can be turned off as to not interfere with the fob when using the truck normally.

If you have factory installed AUX switches, you have an always hot lead and a switched lead inside the cabin. Passenger side footwell, up on the firewall, left side and bundled up like what's under the hood.

You can tie to the always hot with a toggle switch.

Didn’t have that problem with mine but when the baseplate was installed, they also ran power and brake lights from motorhome.
