I went on a hunt on Saturday. Rounded up a pair of 4 and 6 LED Roadshock Edge lights.

I have spent the past couple of days figuring out how i want to wire them. I think I have it

Jeep Gladiator Roadshock Edge 6 light 1000023273

Right now I'm adding two 6 LED to the bumper, I might add another pair to the bumper. I can't power the lights off 3 or 4 as they are over 15 amps but they can act as triggers. This then leaves me two 40 amp switches for other things.

My desire was to have seperate control of the pillar and bumper lights and have a way to rocks the high beams. I figure it I want offroad high beams, i'd also want the stock ones too.

The flow:
Relay 1 is fed battery power over 30. Aux 3 acts as the 85 trigger to activate 87 which feeds to relay 2's 30 and sends power over 87a to the low beam on the pillar.

Relay 3 is fed battery power over 30. Aux 4 acts as the 85 trigger to activate 87 which feeds to relay 4's 30 and sends power over 87a to the low beam on the bumper.

The factory high beams will trigger 85 on both relay 2 and 4 and both will apply power to the highs on the Roadshock lights. If the corresponding aux switch isn't on nothing will happen when 85 is triggered on that relay because it's 30 isn't getting power

Not pictured: I'm tapping the turn signal to provide power to the pillar aux amber back light and use them as turn signals.

Hope that works ?

I have the 4s. They are amazing. Currently have my buddies fooled. They think they are LP4s! they haven't questioned or looked close enough cus the performance is close enough. I imagine the difference is only obvious if side by side to an LP. At least to the untrained eye.

I found that Bosch and Hella made/makes a 5 pole relay with the diode on the coil. I’d like to find where I can buy that so I can just swap out the one on the harness. Then I will hook to the headlights.
Where are folks tying in the running lights for ignition power? I have a BCDC coming and I need to do it for that as well.

My garage is stocked with overstock like that. ?

I needed two bolts and they only come in a 20 pack... or i get to track them down at the fastener store 20 miles away...

Decided to make my own harness with the help of @WILDHOBO. Waiting for my 14 gauge wire to be delivered. Here is my plan and progress. I made the 12 gauge section too long and that will be trimmed down. Sorry for my poor drawing.

Looks great. Nice work. It’ll be so much cleaner than the Oem harness

Nice satisfaction knowing you did it yourself. Plus you know exactly how things are setup on the vehicle. The more you mess with, the easier it is to fix.

Indeed and having all the supplies and knowledge to take on other wiring projects on the Jeep. Can't thank you enough.

No need. I love this stuff. I’ve learned as I go, as with most people I’d guess. I think I should have chosen a different career. Too old for that, so I’m supercharging the hobby to compensate. But you’re very welcome. Reach out any time.
