I plan to do the RK JL Adventure 4 Link Long Arm on the front and the JT Pro-X No Limits on the rear with Fox Shock and Air Bumps.
Plan for your rear shocks to limit downtravel at 29" (or limiting straps). The springs will take more but the brake lines limit travel at about 29 3/8".

Airbumps are ALWAYS a nice touch for a more hardcore offroad setup.

Its a tough question to answer, as everyone's vehicle is outfitted differently. Easiest way to lay it out is, on a bone stock RUBICON, we gain 3.25" in the front and make the rear match with 1/2" of rake in the vehicle overall so that you can still carry weight in the bed. If you don't plan to load the jeep often, you can add a 1/2" spacer to the front to make the jeep sit truly level. On a Sport or Overland, you'll gain the difference between their stock height and a rubicon's stock height plus 3.25". As you add bumpers/winch/armor etc, you can plan to see a nominal 3" of lift on a Rubicon
Thank You

Care to explain why you’re building your own lift with the components you mentioned?

Why air bumps (and Fox!) - you gonna do high speed off raiding?
Fox is a local company to me and I have always received great support from them. Where we are located and the terrain we want to use our Gladiator on the long arm front and Pro-X rear should do great. We have everything from dunes to rock climbing so I am looking to maximize the offroad ability while maintaining as much road manners as possible. The air bumps just make it feel so much better then hitting a static bump stop.

With custom brake lines what would the recommended shock lengths be? We can make up the front and rear lines to any length needed.

There are 4 holes, they are drilled and tapped from the factory in an M10-1.5 (IIRC), we recommend upsizing them to 1/2"-13, the Pro-X kit includes a drill bit and tap for 1/2"-13.

Edit, just realized the springs in the pictures are the pre-production springs, production is different, both functionally and visually.
Nice pics. Thank you.

Are the 4 holes used for anything in stock form?

Just an observation... I would assume there is a better washer arrangement for the U-bolts? That does not look secure.

Thank You

That's a prototype, production is set up better. When that bracket was welded our welder added a bead on a side that should not have been. It's not like that in production.

I keep going back and forth between Metal Cloak and RK. The bushings on the Metal Cloak arms and track bars are maintenance free and reliable, the RK bushings do need maintenance and for the most part seem to be reliable. I like the RK springs the three and four rate springs make sense and i dig the Pro-X rear system.

I`m waiting for some Black Friday sales so hopefully by that time my mind will be made up.

They mount in the stock location.
Agreed. I am unfamiliar with the Gladiator frame mount (still waiting for ours) and this seems to be an area of substantial added stress with the triangular system.
Thanks
