Is it a pain after?
The RK spring is a triple rate spring so the coil spacing is tight near the top so access to the bolts holding the steering box is near impossible, with stock or linear springs there is a gap between the coils so you can get to the bolts and remove them. I have a Synergy brace sitting on my work bench waiting for me to get the energy to install it.

I think my brace is a month out...backorder. I will be installing the lift this next week. Oh well, I love double work, said no one ever.

the discount code works on the kit, ordered the kit and the through shaft fox stabilizer and the synergy brace, got alost $500 off and free shipping.
Damn. I ordered from 4 Wheel Parts and paid about $150 more for mine. About $20 more for the kit without a discount code, (Normal price) and $131 sales tax that Northridge don't charge. Oh well......

You did good. If you keep waiting for the best price you would never buy anything, it`s done just enjoy it. We all win some and loose some.

I know. No tears in MY beer. LOL
I'm trying to prep all I can before the rest of the kit arrives in a couple weeks. Stuff like loosen brake lines, remove spare tire, jack up rear, lower axle to drill/tap the 4 holes in the rear diff. I'll probably do that this weekend. Just little stuff that all consumes time. I have a friend giving me a hand so I was thinking we would work together with me on the driver side and him on the passenger side across from me so I can show him what's what as I do it. Should be a huge time saver. He knows how to wrench so it's not his first rodeo.
(Plus he's bigger n me so that'll help when we gotta hit those 200+ft lbs. A 4ft pipe helps too. :muscle:)

Having help is big, crawling in and out from under the Jeep is no fun and takes time.

The torque get as close as you can, it was impossible to get over 300ft. lbs. of torque on the larger jam nuts without a special vice or means to secure the control arms safely. I have a four foot long torque wrench that goes up to 600 ft. lbs. and a Tekton torque wrench that goes up to 250 ft. lbs., with my larger torque wrench my work bench was lifting off the ground and the control arm would slip out of the vice.

Yikes! Sounds like fun?
I’m planning on renting a bay with a hoist here for $20/hr. My garage is heated but the floor isn’t. That cement stays cold and never warms up here in winter temps. The hoist should make it much easier to work on with no crawling around. We’re older and nowhere near the “Gumby” bodies we used to have. Looking forward to having a whole new NEW Gladiator with this kit in it.

LOL! Little motorcycle history, the RH67 was the first MX motorcycle that Suzuki sold, RH referred to a "works" bike and 67 was the year. People used to call me RH67 because i had collected so many of them.

I figured it was just a coincidence.

I never got into motorbikes when I was younger, but as I get older (approaching my mid-forties), I’m starting to really appreciate the classic two-wheelers. Older BMWs, Triumphs, Indians, HDs, Royal Enfields, etc. seem like a lot of fun to tinker with. One day, perhaps. :like:

Hey all, sorry for delays on my part, I was out of the office unexpectedly for a few days for a funeral I had to attend out of town but I'm back and want to get some answers out there.

@motorod not normal, they should be the same length, we'd be happy to figure out which one is correct and get a replacement to you. If they can both adjust to spec, it isn't required but obviously we want things correct.

@RH 67 I'm glad JP got you squared away. And those are some helpful hints for install for sure.

@wch_Chip Thanks for spotting the coilover kits, we've been developing them for a while and they work very well. It is important to note that the rear has 2.625" diameter rear shocks to match the front 2.625" front coilovers and it is a very well balanced setup.

For all, the front coilover upgrades will be available on the website soon, part number is JT30COF and MSRP on them is $2362.17 That will include front remote reservoir coilovers, frame side brackets and axle side brackets. They are 12" travel and offer 14" of wheel travel on OEM axles, will fit aftermarket axles without any issues.

If I missed a response anywhere, let me know, tag me etc and we will get you covered ASAP.
