Hello! New to this forum and I recently installed the RSI smart cap. I noticed bed caps warping today by an accident when i was just running my fingers around the bed rail. Is it purely aesthetic?

Also, looks like RSI updated their instruction. I'll post some pics in the near future as it's dark outside.

Is there an after market rack for the smart cap similar to the alu-cab ammo box slide rack ? I like that option for storage boxes offered by Alu-cab.

I have a bed rack and plan to switch to a cap. Smartcap looks cool but I cannot get over that clamp! Has anyone heard if they plan a revision?

I am on the fence about getting one but my wife and I are short (5’3) and I dig the set up with the kitchen insert But we also plan on a 3” lift (AEV) and 35” tires. I’m wondering if that’ll too high.

Correct, just outside of Boston. Kitchens or full cap displays? We don't have any caps on display, but we install quite a few most weeks. So high probability of having one at the shop.

If you live somewhere cold, the locks will freeze... no matter what you do ahead of time. Just carry a can of spray deicer.

Pre treatment with lube will help. But if it's wet and then cold... not much you can do.

MN resident here, with a Smart Cap since 2020.

Our foam seals have been holding up fine.

Has there been an updated version of the cap or at least the locks since you got yours? I think I saw some people say that SmartCap shipped them new locks that don’t freeze or have some kind of rubber over them.
