Yeah, I got mine from OA.

The box had damage, but most of the time things inside are typically OK. I just got unlucky. I knew OA would take care of me if I had an issue with it (which they have). I’m sure the rep there told you that becuase a few of us early recipients had damaged panels. RSI has supposedly altered their shipping/packaging to help prevent it.

My roof panel was easily repaired by a body shop. If that was all that was damaged I’d be set. But my rear lift gate is also slightly bent. They are shipping me a new lift gate, but it’s going to be weeks. I’m not thrilled with the situation, but it is what it is. My cap is still functional with the bent lift gate.

I could have opted to get an entire new cap as well. But it would have been months. Just didn’t seem worth it at the time. I’m disappointed they didn’t buffer in several of each panel into their first order to account for warranty/damage issues. It gets back to the poor overall logistic rollout of the product.

I think in the end we will all have great caps and be happy. It’s just a bumpy road.

It really is a shame that some distributors are having such issues. Offroad Alliance nailed it for me.

Hang in there everyone. It's well worth the wait!

Last Wednesday my contact at Keystone told me the cap would deliver to my retailer "...as soon as the end of this week, but more likely it's going to be about the beginning to middle of next week...."
Today I called him and received information that he THINKS it SHOULD arrive at the Keystone DC in Kansas City tomorrow and they SHOULD be able to check it in fairly quickly. Then they SHOULD be able to ship it FAIRLY quickly and it SHOULD take 2 days to deliver to the retailer.
I'm not sure why I held some small amount of hope that last week's information would be any more credible than before, possibly because I've no other solution to the problem created by Keystone.

Do you have the PRO# for the carrier yet or still waiting?

i guess i need to make a contact at keystone. only thing i got from them in an email yesterday when asked about any news, ETAs etc, was “Difficult to say it's a new part number, awaiting the order from RSI.” .... gee, super helpful guys.

No. The shipment from the port to the Keystone warehouse in Kansas City is SUPPOSEDLY still in transit (been on the road for 12 days...). Keystone has not been able to track their shipment from the Port to KC, so I'm going to assume they won't be able to provide a PRO number when they put it on an LTL carrier to my retailer in North Texas. I assume that because I'm assuming the ineptitude will continue.

I would say having a contact at Keystone has been little help, and has only worked to string me along. Huge over promise/under deliver situation. It did help me understand that my retailer is not to blame, and that constantly being told to "check with your retailer" is not going to yield a single bit of useful information.

That is dramatically better packed than mine. The roof panel box wasn't attached to the other box at all and there was zero plastic wrap on either. Looks they they got that part sorted out at the very least.

It's snowing and that pallet was a monster to get up the driveway. The guy asked me for help. It is a surprise that it is in such good shape.

Looks great - Congrats on getting it. Curious if you can tell where it shipped from? Kansas City? Who was the freight carrier?
Post up pics when you get it installed!
R+L Carriers was the freight company. Left Exeter, PA to Scranton, Pa, then to Wilmington, then to Oklahoma City.

I will definitely get some pics posted. I'll probably share a video of the bin and the RSI rack when I receive them. I can't find anything on YouTube showing those.

That's interesting. Keystone is headquartered in Exeter, and I assume has a 'main' DC there. They shipped you from PA to OKC, while mine is SUPPOSED to go from their Kansas City DC to Fort Worth, Texas.

That is interesting. Kansas would make better sense for an OK delivery. Pretty weird.
