Rubicon Diesel shocks and springs on a Gas sport?

Who here is running DIESEL Rubicon springs and shocks on their gas NON Rubicon? Any issues or notes?

I can grab some take offs for a decent price and was thinking of throwing them on my Willys. I am a little concerned about the bottoming out issues I had read about.

Any input would be appreciated.

The bottoming out is largely due to the weight of the engine and not an inherent problem with the springs or struts. That being said the springs are designed to handle different loads so beyond “fitting” your vehicle just fine they may not perform as you might want. I’ll let someone with real world experience chime in there but they will fit the vehicle in the senses that you can install them the same as any other spring and strut (mounts and perches are identical)

They'll have a higher spring rate - they'll be stiffer as they are made for holding up weight, so look for a harsher ride.
Your rig is not only lighter than a Rubicon by a bit, it's a lot lighter than a diesel JT in general, so stiffer springs will hold it up, but also ride harder.
Going too high with spring rate and your tires don't stick to the road as well on less than smooth roads.
