rubicon leveling kit

hello people l have read about all l can on differnt kits so this is a age old question and posssibly be specift to the rubicon l have a 21 rubicon and want to raze the front to match the rear in hight l will never off road and never put differnt wheels n tires or a lift kit or haul that much or that offen so what is the best kit to buy how high do l need to go to make it level as l can do l need the shock brackets l read l dont and saw a vidio that explaned why l dont but to me it just seams that l shoud run one to make everything line up the same as stock just a little taller now that said what is the best and how much money are theynot that makes any differnce l want to do it once and done right and do you think it will need a front end alinment so say yes some say no part number and or link would be grate also where you would be these parts there are many many jeep parts supplyers out there thank you for your time and answer in advance l know this is a long winded post

Teraflex 1.5” or daystar 1.5”. That’s all you need, it’s cheap, effective, and easy to install. Usually no alignment is needed, but you seem very concerned about doing it right the first time. So You may consider doing it. It’s not expensive to do.

Don’t over think it, it’s just a leveling kit. These two are the most commonly used on this forum. I have the teraflex.

Do you recommend getting the shock extension brackets as well?
I'm about to add the teraflex spacer to my JT Rubicon

No, you don’t need any extension brackets with the spacers.

My knowledge of suspension is poor, at best.... But wouldn't the extension bracket bring back the shock travel lost? Do the shocks have 1.5" less length to extend because they are already an extra 1.5" more extended from the spacer?

I haven't gone with shock extensions and do wheel the Jeep. Does the kit reduce my available axle articulation, surely it must unless the standard shocks have more travel than they needed?

I am also fitting the longer Mopar LCAs (when they arrive!!) as improving the caster seems to have tangible benefits to drivability. I'm doing the alignment after fitting the LCAs but at the moment no issues and steering wheel remained straight.

I was planning on holding off on the lower control arms until after driving it for a little bit... But otherwise exactly my plans on size.

No issues with wheeling at all? Happy to hear that... I think I'll skip the extensions.

I have not seen anywhere on the interwebs it being an issue. So my guess is, the shock has the extra length built into it. It looks like once you go to a 2” spacer lift you need the shock extensions.

You don't NEED the shock extensions. But to maintain the ride quality you SHOULD get them.
They will keep the shock travel in the same range.

Has anyone installed just the 1" level kit on the front of a JTR? I am thinking with the higher fenders, this should be enough.
