I have a Sport with Mopar lift and factory running boards. Can the Rubicon rock rails be installed with the running boards or do I have to give them up?

You have to remove the running boards. There are no Rock Rails I'm aware of that are compatible with the running boards.

Correct, as mentioned it's one or the other. They use the same mounting locations.

Here's a video I did when I removed my side steps and installed some rock rails from a Rubicon. It's super simple. When I sold my side steps, I actually installed them for the guy since it only takes like 15 mins.

Thanks. I'd rather have the rails but my wife wants the steps.

There are aftermarket rails that build in a step. Some are just wider to act as a step, some have retractable steps. If I replace my Rubi rails it will be with ones that have a step on top, the retractable ones are way too expensive and don't serve a purpose for my tall frame.

M.O.R.E. Has steps that work with Rubicon rails, they are spring loaded to get out of the way, and also have quick release to remove if needed.
