I installed a new set of front and rear FOX performance 2.0 shocks on my stock Gladiator Sport (It had black factory shocks) and it rides better than it did before and I do a lot of highway driving.

I've got a set I'd let go for the shipping.
I bought "Rubicon take-off" springs and shocks to put on my 2020 JT - give it a bit if a boost and "assumed" hey, those Fox shocks have to be better than the stock Overland shocks.
HAHA - nope.
When I traded my 2020 in on my 2022, the dealer wanted the 20 put back to stock so I took off the Fox shocks and Rubicon springs and returned it to factory - and decided against putting those shocks on this 22. No way.
I have Eibach shocks on the rear, because the rear factory shocks eventually got bouncy (even though they denied there were any problems) - the fronts are still stock but new because the originals leaked badly and it was obvious there was a problem.
Once the shocks are out of warranty - I'll likely put Eibach shocks on the front.

The Fox shocks are in my garage's loft, sitting looking pretty in a box for the last 1 1/2 years.
The rubicon fox shocks aren’t great, but they’re so much better than the Overland shocks. Mine on the overland suspension floated down the road and bounced multiple times after big bumps. My Fox shocks stopped that until I added bumpers and a winch at 60k miles. Then it was almost as bad as with the overland shocks. My 5100s now are better than both though. No bounce but still rides good when you hit bumps. My brand new overland shocks and the rest of the overland suspension are gathering dust in my garage attic for almost six yrs now. I’ll sell it for scrap eventually. I love that ride on my 65 Deville convertible. HATE it on my Jeep. Plus, it towed like shit too.

I had the opposite experience - the Rubicon shocks bounced just leaving the garage where there's a 1" drop to keep water out. I'll never put the fox rubicon shocks on a Jeep again. They still sit in my loft, come and get them. The overland did good on our washboard gravel roads and were well-matched to the springs.

For anyone coming through on 80 or 35 -
FREE Rubicon fox take-off shocks - come and get them.

Are the FOX performance 2.0 shocks the same as what you are calling the “Fox Rubicon Shocks” or are they different? I’m thinking they’re different. The ones I put on have no lift they are just the shocks not the lift shocks.

Shocks do not lift or support weight. They would be longer for a lifted Jeep, but they don't do the lifting.

Ok, cause I see some that have this tube with a canister looking attachment I thought those were to aid in lifting. Ok, cause my shocks didn’t have that set up.

No. different.

Personal preference, I don’t think they’re worth twice what the 5100s cost when I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Bilstein in many different vehicles over the last 20+ yrs. It seemed to be too good to be true. It’s not. They’re great. Very rare instance when one of the cheapest options is one of the best.

I tossed mine in the recycle bin, I couldn't sell them ethically

Certainly different valving, but similar/same body.
