Rubicon Swaybar (Smartbar) Wiring Harness part number?
I am trying to add Rubicon Swaybar (Smartbar) to Mojave along with Rubicon off-road switch 68359089aa to operate it along with front & rear locker.
All i am missing is the harness for swaybar.
Before i dive into building the wiring harness myself, i am wondering if it can easy be disconnected to buy from someone. Or if someone has part number for it.

Question: does this wiring harness clips/snaps on to pigtail from XY291A or does it directly attach to XY291A connector along with chassis or dash harness?
@AllMoparParts.com is there part number on the harness anywhere?

I bought this Chassis Wiring 68397972ad but its only for front locker & speedo sensor.

XY291A

Looking at Mopar wiring diagram/connectors it seems to connect to XY291A

XY291A is located directly above the passenger front bump-stop behind fender liner, it maybe partially visible looking at the shock.
further reference for connector location

Below is picture of harness connected to smart bar actuator picture that i copied from one of the old listing on this forum.

Looking at the diagrams, and doing a LOT of this work in the past, it looks like the wires go from the harness connected to the sway bar module (your first link to the 8-pin harness) and pin directly into XY291A via its mated harness. In other words, there is no separate harness just for these wires, they are part of the same harness on the XY291A side. If you look at the XY291A harness now, those pin locations should be empty, or plugged with a waterproof plug.

Does that help?

^^^ This is correct. No pigtail harness.

I went through this last year on my Overland. I ended up eliminated the sway module completely and activate the motor using a relay. The plus side is that i can disconnect it anytime at any speed.

Thanks for confirming.
yup that’s the plan since there is no intermediate harness between them.
i have it all marked off on paper,

Hopefully your Mojave has the required wires after the 291x connector since you have rear locker. My Overland are missing all of it. Good luck!

i've hoping it has, since Mojave have off-road switch hook up to canbus to 291x in same network operating rear locker.

That would be sweet. Just needs to make a 5 wires harness.

Finally weather is better, so go it done.
Miss rubi smatbar swaybar disco? no more, ;)
Bought the off-road switch with swaybar button, mopar 8-way connector kit. Got it all wired up & activated with jscan, it works like a charm.

i’ve got the front locker harness too but the rubi shock brackets are smaller then mojave & i want to keep cast iron knuckles, so axle swap may not be the best option so thinking of just sourcing the locker assembly.

Would you know the supply, and return voltage for the position sensor when it is engaged, and disengaged? I have a Rubi sway bar for my mojave as well, but I would like to use an air solenoid to disengage the sway bar instead of the module, while using the oem sway bar button.

Yeah I talked with Temperance a little bit about it. It should be something similar. I think it would be the voltage difference over Can C+, and Can C-, but im not sure. The whole can bus system is way over my head. I might just have to bite the bullet, and try and find a reasonably cost sway bar module, instead of trying to use air since thats something you showed can be done.

I have a new take off module circuit board if your interested.
