Answer to the question is yes you can run 35x12.50 tire on the stock 17 x7.50 rim. It’s up to you what you want to do. Do your research and see what others have done and there results.

I also want to swap my 33s for 35s on my Rubicon. I have a different question. I ordered the "upgrade" optional $995 wheels on my vehicle, but those are the same dimensions as the stock Rubicon wheels: 17" x 7.5" width. Can I use those same wheels for 35s? I intend to do the 2" factory Mopar lift. If I can't use those wheels with 35s then I wasted $995. Feedback on what optimum width wheel would be greatly appreciated. Ancillary question is what "offset", if any, should those wheels be fro the 35s. I haven't seen this discussed anywhere. Thanks. Spacecat.
1.5” level up front. No other changes from stock. No rubbing. Running @ 30psi cold.

This lack of clarity is why I went ahead and had the dealership do it before I take delivery. I’ll be the first to admit I am not a huge motor/parts expert. However, I’d like to have some say into what goes on to my jeep. I’d prefer the “Built, not bought” approach to my vehicles. I will post photos as soon as it comes in.

I understand where you're coming from and you're smart going with the dealer installed if you aren't interested in taking the time to learn before going into it yourself. I would at least require the original set since the dealer is essentially selling you a new set and keeping yours to then sell at 100% profit to someone else. It would be like buying a car and just giving them your old one for nothing.

To any of you Rubicon, 35" tires, and no lift who have stated no rubbing has been observed and "plenty of room".

Have you seen any rubbing under significant articulation and full lock? If so, please elaborate.

I still need to test this out. When I do I'll let you know.
