I leave my frame holes open for flushing and they allow air in to dry it. Salt is not in my area.
I have a GlueTread with me and hope I never have to use it.

Replaced the spline drive lug nuts that came with the Method rims from Discount tire. The finish was starting to tarnish and come off. Plus the socket that came with the lug nuts is a THIN wall. I had a thin wall spline lug nut socket split on me the other day on my Nismo. After that. I made my mind up to replace the lug nuts on the JT then. I got Gorilla lug nuts. Had them on my Power Wagon for years. The finish on them stayed nice.

Old.

I need to do this as well. Mine has all those spline nuts and I can just see that being bad. I have the socket for em but am kinda nervous to use my new Bauer impact to get them off. I cringe at the thought of the splines just melting away and having a perfectly round lug nut.

There is nothing wrong with using spline drive. But using a thin wall socket for lug nuts gives me the chills. If you're out on the trail and that socket decides to split, and you don't have a spare. You're in trouble.

Exactly. I do plan on going for some solo jaunts too so want to be set up to self recover/self repair as much as possible. If I can’t even get a tire changed when I’m out I don’t belong out there.

It's still a work in progress. Still needs a winch bumper and winch. Longer shocks. They're my limiting factor right now. 4" lift with 3" shocks. Driveshafts, front axle bracing, and Metalclock ball joints.

Up date. The Kenda's will need rotating at around 4,000 miles. They start to show signs of cupping on the front.

Wonder if the slightly lighter Gas 3.6L might be able to go 5,000 ?
