Will do, as soon as I pick her up this Thursday! LMK if you want any particular angles etc. I also thought of going to 37 (such as the BFG KO2 which are a bit smaller diameter than a lot of the other 37’s). I still might do it someday but the possible issues of rubbing (with no lift) and the need for new gears (even though the KO2 is pretty light) stopped me from doing it. I’ll run the 35 for a while and see how it goes, and learn along the way.
I know a lot of folks like to stuff as large of a tire in the wheel well as possible, but if you use your Jeep at all it's better to have the travel and articulation IMO. If you do ultimately go 37s I would add a lift and shock risers (since you have a Mojave) to keep your clearances. Regardless of tire weight, I personally would regear for any tire size larger than 2" (nominal) over stock.

Andrew, It looks like you mounted the 35's to the original wheels, is that what you had done?

I feel like I have to add at least an inch to the width of the wheel to put on 35s.
Why would you need a wider wheel to mount a taller tire?

Yes, I’m considering all those things also… I’m actually looking at the 37” BFG AT KO2’s. I know guys are measuring anywhere from 35.5” to 36”5. I’m considering staying stock height or 3/4” or 1” spacers, or even the AEV 2” spacer kit.
Or just doing the 35’s with no lift.
My AEV Savegre wheels should be here in two days.
This is her 2 weeks ago when I picked her up at the dealer.

I think the blue Mojave is on a 2” AEV spacer lift with 37” BFG’s. And the silver has no lift with 37” BFG’s (looks a little SUFFED in the pic for my taste but might look better in person).

Added 35s to the new Gladiator…pretty happy with the look and drive compared to the stock tires. I may go with 37s at some point down the road but for now these are more than adequate. Very happy with this truck

Yes; that’s right. Those are the stock wheels (17 by 7.5). The tire that is on there now is taller and also wider than the OEM Wildpeak. A lot of tire manufacturers list the recommended rim width online. And yes, Toyo would advise a wider rim for this particular tire (8.0 rim width minimum). But I can also tell you that there are a lot of people running tires of this width and even larger diameter on the same stock rims. I think the tires will round up and wear more on the center of the tread, if you run a rim too small, and the tire at the advised pressure. You would need to run a lower pressure I suppose to get the surface of the tire to be within its recommended “flatness”. Ali Mansor has a good YouTube video on this - check his chanel and search 35’s no lift.

Looking great! Please please please post some photos of your JT with those new AEV wheels. I’m considering the same if I go up in size. Do you know what the weight difference will be between the OEM wheel and the AEV wheel?
