i was beginning to think these things were just a dream and that the truck I ordered was just a nightmare..but that’s not the case.

I was in Norfolk, VA on business on Friday and decided to go down to Hatteras, NC to check on our beach house during the turnover time (we rent it out)

I left Norfolk about 6:30 in the morning. The traffic hadn’t started getting heavy so I was making good time. I crossed over the N.C. line and a couple of miles just South of there I saw 3 Gladiators on a Hot Shot trailer at the welcome center...I almost drove off the road...it was the first time i’d seen one in the wild let alone three. I was debating wether to turn around but decided I needed to be at the house by 10 to get my stuff done.

I made it down to Buxton, NC and dam if I didn’t see 2 other ones driving around; a silver one and a red one..
I waved to both of them but since I was driving my Super Duty they probably weren’t paying attention.

It just made my day!!

I've only seen five total so far and that's with travels across the US 2 in Michigan and three here in Fla (not including the demos at Jeep beach) but that's about to change! The only one that matters is mine, should be pickin her up in a week or two!

I still have not seen a single one to date aside from the one I test drove last week. I just parked my butt at the hotel bar in West Virginia on my way up to Ohio from Florida. Guess what? Didn’t see a single one over the past 700 miles. Are we sure they aren’t dealer show pieces?

Just saw a red Rubicon in the North Anchorage Costco parking lot. That makes only like 4 or 5 total that I have seen out and about in my travels all over the country.

I just drove 4 hours from Maryland to Pennsylvania on Friday night and back to Maryland today and didn't see a single one. I saw plenty of people taking pictures of me and giving me thumbs up as I drove buy. Most wranglers waved. Some that drove by me were snobby, others excited about it.

I saw 4 before mine arrived, and only one since I picked mine up July 13th. On a side note, the asshole didn’t wave back when I waved in my Gladiator ... guessing he’s pissed he’s not the only one anymore.

I've only seen them in front of a couple Jeep dealer lots. The only other sighting was my wife's sister who reportedly saw one yesterday, while my wife was driving her and she said "oh my god what is that? It's so ugly" My wife turned to her and said, "Its the new Gladiator, we just ordered one." ..:)

I am surprised I don’t see more but that’s been my experience in N VA as well. Just picked mine up last week and haven’t another one on the road.

I like that de-badged look, I don't suppose you removed the tailgate badge?
I REALLY wish I could tell you I did. This is the only jeep that I haven't completely de-badged. Reasoning: I had to leave the Trail Rated badge on due to the indent in which it sits. Given that, we decided to leave the Launch Edition and JEEP badge on the tailgate. I will say, I can see the JEEP badge coming off soon. I just think it's a much cleaner look! I convinced darn near every sales, parts and service person at the dealership to do the same but I understand it's not for everyone. On the flip side, which drives me nuts, when I de-badged my XK Overland, a fellow forum member there purchased all of my badges and put them on his base model XK.....WHY?

Finally saw one driving down the road on Saturday... as it was turning into the Jeep dealership
It was a customer's white LE so technically it still counts!
Also saw 4 at that dealership, one black LE Rubi on the pedestal for sale, also a Granite Overland (PURTY)
