MODELS:2020 to my knowledge that is the only ones the TSB applies to.
Just goes to show that those people don't read the TEXT in detail. It clearly says lift is fine if it's in alignment specs, wander and/or pull and also states it may feel like the steering wheel has excessive play.so my "jeep cares" specialist was no help. Wanted to tell me what i already know. The dealer has said it must be tires or lift. i said the tsb states that any lift that can be aligned to spec is no issue. They say my alignment is spot on. Besides, i have rubicon factory mopar parts for my lift with a tiny spacer. The dealer says the gearbox is fine. So bad gears dont exist?
She then states that the TSB is for wandering, not pulling. Again, i said BS it states plainly wandering or pull.
I even said to her that this has nothing to do with whats on it, this only started after the TSB gear install. I said others have had the same issue and had to have the install done a couple times.
SOL. sorry, you can go to another dealer for another opinion.
BS.
Yep and thatās what I said. All the jeepcares lady could say is well the dealer says itās your tires or āaftermarketā lift. Lol rubicon parts are aftermarket? The only aftermarket is the small spacer and all of that drove straight true before the TSB. I said some people even have to have it done more than once.Just goes to show that those people don't read the TEXT in detail. So it covers play, wander, lead/pull, it coves it in case of lifts as long as it's in the service alignment specs............ pretty clearly says that if the customer complains, FIX IT.
Hey there, DailyMoparGuy. We can discuss your concerns further if you'd like. Please send a private message to our team to get started.Thatās exactly the issue I have too. I have to hold the steering wheel to the left but the truck also drifts right when I let go. Iāve always had the steel steering box. Mine is a late January 2021 build I believe. As I stated in another thread, this started after my tire rotation lol.
