Any updates on your warranty issue? Surely by now you have gotten it handled?
oh yeah! Sorry I forgot to update y’all!
The warranty process went super smoothly, and the turnaround was fast. The shock is back under the truck now and good as new. The issue was a faulty o-ring. Everything is working great now, just did another 8 hrs of wheeling this last Friday.

Glad to hear it went smooth. All of my communications with SDI have been great and I expected nothing less of your situation.

No more ECM overheating? I was thinking maybe that solenoid had low impedance and that why the ECM was having issues?

No more issues with overheating the ECU on my last trip, though I wasn’t doing as much super low speed crawling on this trip, but yes I believe the overheating issue to be solved as well.

Iv had the E Cliks for over 6 months now and am still on the fence about if they were worth it or not. I would say if you use your vehicle in many different ways this is where they shine. The adjustment is awesome going from empty load, full load, towing, and off-roading. The problem is your add complexity and failure points to an off-road rig that the benefits might not be needed.

I had a couple of questions for the guys that currently have the e-clik system. Where the e-clik system connects to the vehicle bus port under the dash, how many wires are connect? My e-clik loom only has one wire and I'm not sure if that's right. When you apply brakes while not moving does the display show the shocks firming up? Mine does not do this like they show in some of the videos. Last question/issue, when you switch from street mode to trail mode do you loose all Pro presets? I do.

I’m currently away from my rig, so I’ll have to get back to ya on the specifics. Off the top of my head, all I can say is I’m pretty sure I have my pro presets set differently for each mode, and those modes hold on to their different settings independent of each other.

I’ll have to check for sure when I get back.

You should see the shocks adjusting quite a bit throughout your drive, braking, turning, etc. I know I was just on an on-ramp yesterday with my shocks mid way on the street mode and they were showing like 5-6 on the outside tires and the inside ones being 1-2. If it is a slow braking stop you may not see it adjust but any decent stopping motion should soften the rear and stiffen the front. Now I will say, my first harness to the interior was incorrect and they had to send a new one. I’d call them for support and take a video of it not really adjusting. Also, the other day, I had knocked the plug out of the OBDII port and it was really only adjusting between 0-1 and nothing more.

Not sure on the wire count.

The output numbers change all the time with chassis movements, braking and throttle input. I have my turn and roll pro menu settings dialed up pretty aggressive though.

Just tossed a bike in the back this afternoon and dialed up the load setting to 50% to see more more aggressive rear shock settings while cornering. The more I tailor the valving to my needs, the more I'm in love with this system!

I was very disappointed in it until I realized it had been unplugged by the dealer. I have it on a splitter and the connecters are stuffed in that little area to the left behind the port, kind of near the inner part of the quarter panel. Once i realized and plugged it back in, it was night and day.

Its 2 wires, 1 Green, 1 White.

did you have to send the shock in first? I've had horrible buzzing since install but don't want my truck to be down while they are figuring it out.

There is a possibility that there is a slight air bubble in your solenoid and a quick easy bleed might fix it. All a it takes a a torx bit and can be done on the truck. I'm not sure if they would instruct you to do so, but I've done a fair amount of work on the SDi internals and could walk you through it.

Give me a ring at the shop if you would want to try that before sending it in.

3:35 is the screw and all of the ones I have worked on have a torx. You just loosen it a 1/4 to 1/2 turn real quick like bleeding brakes and see if air comes out. You should only lose a drop or two of oil. You wont have that socket for the cap on hand, but you can usually unscrew it by hand or wrap a rag around it and use pliers? It's composite, so it pretty soft.
