While adding LCA skid plates I noticed oil/liquid on my sector shaft nut. Its covered about an 1” or so above. No visible leaks from anything above or in engine. 2021 Gladiator S eco diesel.

When you say “sector shaft”, are you meaning the front drive shaft?

No, the sector shaft is the shaft coming out of the steering box. The pitman arm mounts to it.

OP, you may have a leaky steering box…leaking ps fluid.

Warranty…new box.

Definitely power steering fluid. So much for the steel steering box being great.

I thought I read about a TSB for for a leaking steering box.
