Are Jeep gladiators pretty loud when switching from park to reverse or drive? I noticed in my drive way which is a slight hill. Sounds rough but I’m not sure I if it’s just a jeep thing. Does anyone else hear a pretty decent clutch shifting sound too?

Loud is subjective. It's likely the parking pawl disengaging. It's more noticeable when parked on an incline, and when the engine is at the initial start higher idle.

Try setting the parking brake just before putting it in park and taking your foot off the brake pedal.

Dude it’s a gladiator thing. I engage parking brake on any hill and then put it in park. No more clunk. But yes it’s a clunk crack loud noise I’ve not heard in any other vehicle before
