So have you never been inside a casino? The House always wins! Only peroan on the losing end of this is you my friend! I fully understand you wanting more room for your kids but no way! I have 7 kids, I drive a JT and the wife has a mini for our DD. We have a van as our family van for when we're all together. No way could you convince me I need to get rid of my Jeep! Especially for a GM vehicle with 74k miles on it!

I'd say no. Like others have said you could do better on the swap.

Coming from someone who sells chevys....I say no way! That is a base model truck. You are giving up waaaay more than they are. The trim level under the custom is a work truck.....trust me. We are very outrageous in prices, and customers need to be also! Not an even swap at all.

Just my opinion but I traded from a 2017 GMC Sierra to my Gladiator. all I can say is look up all the class action stuff against the 5.3, I know it's bigger quieter and frankly a nicer ride, but you will in my opinion miss the gladiator when you start having high pressure fuel pump issues, and lifter issues due to the cylinder on demand system thats trash, oh and the port injection knock that sounds like valve issues, and the exhaust leak you get from the manifold bolts breaking, and the... Well you get the picture but man it's your decision this is just my opinion.
Yup my 2019 trailboss LT was having lifter issues and the transmission was slamming into reverse every morning with only 20k miles. Also experienced two failing bearings. Ended up selling it for what I paid during the summer with the crazy prices.

Yeah more and more research leads me to believe that 5.3 is junk

I'm raising two children with first a Wrangler and now a Gladiator. it's just as functional as my wife's Santa Fe and the kids love the climb. I do miss the cargo space in the rear of the Gladiator, but I started using a waterproof tote box and tow straps in the bed when we really need the extra space.

If there's a will, there's a way.

PS. my kids HATE riding in the SantaFe lol
