I had a 2020 Sierra AT4, great truck, nice ride. Lots of options. It burned in my laneway and wasn’t a year old. I usually park in the garage and was lucky that I managed to get it out of my garage. Still lost the front of the garage.
So yeah I’m not getting a GMC/Chevy anytime soon

Yeah its just have another kid on the way and its tight already and loud and cant tow more than 4k with the manual
Did you research the Gladiator tow capacity before you bought one? There are ways to make the Jeep quieter.

Really up to what you've done with your Gladiator and if it meets your needs. Sounds like it doesn't? Thing to think about swapping for a used vehicle is you don't know how bad it was treated in those miles. Especially comparing it to the miles on your vehicle, you know what you've done to your vehicle and how well you've treated it. For you personally, your miles are more "valuable" than some rando from a dealer.

I generally prefer skipping the (used to be) huge depreciation hit on anything not a Wrangler/Taco, and get something with <50K miles. However, there's something to be said about knowing who to blame if the new vehicle isn't taken care off well (the jerk in the mirror ;)).

I wouldn't but it's on you. Never owned a Chevy but my brother in law and the Finance manager at work have both had Cylinder failures on their Chevy 1500's. The guy I work with has a brand new one, my brother in law bought his used with no warranty, 2018 model. It's your call

I left my JL in the fall for a deal on a GC that was too good to be true. I regretted every second.

Hell no, keep your JT. Wait for something else when the market dies down some of you really wanna get rid of it. This is coming from someone who really likes those new Silverados too.

73k miles ain’t a whole bunch but it ain’t a little bit either.

Just realized you already decided against it. Good choice in my opinion.

I needed more space for kids and work and they offered me more then i paid for my rubicon almost two years earlier so I understand the thought process but I dont think that truck would be the way I would go. Only reason I did it was because I got a great deal on a Power wagon which was another truck I always wanted. May come back to a gladiator after the new inline 6 comes out and we replace the wifes car with something bigger. Hope your happy with whatever you decide to do.

Decided against it…tried for an additional 3 year warranty they wanted another $4k…sticking with gladiator ??
Smart move for now. Trading a 30k miles jeep in for an 80k miles truck is just not a good move.

im also leery or anytime a dealer is eager to do a trade like that. They may be nice folks but the customer is not front of the line when they’re looking to take care of people.
