i was thinking about the synergy coils. I even sent them a message because i saw that they had a closed bottom end to the coils and i know the Gladiator has a stop to hold the open end of the OEM coil. They replied the next day showing me an adapter plate.
The only extra weight i carry on the front end is the mounting frame, which is minimal, so i will probably stay with my current setup. I might go to a 2.5 leveling kit. i do have a 1.r leveling kit, but she looks squat with 33's.
I hear you about the halogen lights. I was driving on a Maine back road after dark, and my lights were next to worthless

LOL - I was thinking they could hold up 801 Grand in Des Moines with that mounting bar and those side pieces that bolt to the Jeep's frame. Geesh, designed for pulling a locomotive? I figure if I ever bend that, I must have totaled the whole truck. Heavy - those side pieces are what, 5 pounds each? The bar is heavier duty than a 2" receiver hitch.
But yeah, in total, I could make up for the weight of that plow's mounting bar if I lost 25 pounds myself - and as a side benefit, it would make my wife happier, too.
One other reason I'm likely going with the 2" synergy springs is that, aside from the extra weight of the bumper and winch, I have 3/4" spacers in the rear. The plan was for the springs up front to level it out a bit but that didn't happen. so it's got crazy rake to it. Put slicks on the back and take it to the drag strip - appearance-wise it would fit right in with that rake.
