The kits are made so you can force a resin in using suction cups. I’d find an autolite around you and get their opinion. What others are saying is very true. Inside 2 inches around the perimeter the glass has the most tension. In the top and bottom center is the easiest bending/cracking point. I’d be interested in what they say. I’m guessing they wind do it since they don’t want to warrantee it.I wonder if those windshield repair people or kits would help by injecting whatever they inject before it cracks further? Plus even if I do that it still looks bad. Bus me to have to touch up the paint too.
