Currently have the JCR Offroad Molle Panels on the driver and passenger side, with a fire extinguisher mounted on the drivers side, like the picture on their site:
https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/JTIMP-PC.html

Ill be relocating the fire extinguisher soon, and debating on whether I want to remove the JCR panels and do something different with that space. I was considering pulling them out and putting them on the ol C-List, and just putting some adhesive velcro on the hardtop panel instead - seems like I could have a tear away med kit there or something else, make use of the space a little better.

Generically looking for ideas and curious what people with a hardtop have done with the space there. Thanks!

I don't know why I missed these. I have been looking for a clean way to mount my FE instead of it rolling around under my seat.
So, I just ordered one. Probaly could do a mount like the other post but I like the clean look of this one.

It's too bad these things only work with the hard top.
Also, I love the photoshopped one with the red vines, like they couldn't go out and spend the 2 dollars for a 4lb jug of them and throw em in there LOL

I have the same rear molle panels, on the driver side I hang my hat/air down tools/tire repair kit.

Passenger side has the first aid kit and hard top kit. Might just switch these around though.

Call me crazy, but I've got the soft top and I kind've want to get another set of corners and mod them to have bubble windows.....

Serious question: has anyone ever had a fire that they had to put out with the fire extinguisher? It just seems to be more of a hassle and potential hazard than it is helpful.

fyi, those FE are at head height in the event of side impact for rear passengers. Just something to consider.
I take it off in the rare case I have a rear passenger

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Especially if you wheel your jeep deep in forests like we do here in Canada. Don’t want to be the reason there’s a huge forest fire

If I would have a passenger in the seat I would remove the fire extinguisher and relocate it.
I maybe trying to be over prepared for fires with 4 extinguishers and 2 fire suppression pods installed where my house battery is located. I definitely try to be over prepared with first aid stuff. Storage near back door area and in door pouches.

Not when driving my JT but I've stopped and helped out driving my Wrangler with someone who had a vehicle fire. A different time, kids lit yards filled with dry grass and pine needles on fire 2 houses over from mine 5 fire extinguishers and garden hose to stop it.
That's just two of many times for me, I could give more times but not necessarily.

Most Jeep clubs and event organizers require it.

I have the soft top, so that location was off limits for me for a bottle. But, I bought an Element Fire and have it mounted with the quadratec flashlight clips on my driver's seat.

Also, IMHO, a better option than in the back. In the event of a serious crash, rollover, etc you may not be able to get to the back of the rig and get it off your C-Pillar, or under the back seat, or in the truck bed...

EDIT: but those molle panels look pretty cool, though!
