I have several things to mount in the JT e.g. radios, GPS, tablet, phone, the list goes on and on.
I am looking for first hand knowledge and pictures of your setup.

I started this exact same thread a while back. Even the same title I think ?

Most of the replies were idiotic jokes about the word cockpit instead of actually pictures and discussion about what devices used and how they were setup and mounted.

Heres on pic. I have another of my ipad setup I need to find.
Additionally I have since added a MagSafe iPhone mount. Have to get a picture of that when I can.

Found an older pic. Also have a different iPad mini now. Newer, black with the GPS chip in it.

You know what they say, great minds think alike. What mount are you using for your midland radio?

I use the one that came with the radio and just put some of the VHB 3M tape on the back. Super low profile and has held up just fine.

Garmin Tread Overland XL and two phone mounts using RAM mounts and hanging off a Vortex dock bar. All chargers/cables are run through the dash and such.

The Cobra 75 handset is on a RAM arm hooked to a CMM Offroad grab bar ball mount.

How long have you been running that overland XL, do you like it?

I have had it for about a year and absolutely love it. It has a ridiculously steep entry price but IMO, well worth it.

10 years ago, I started using the Delorme inReach for backpacking and then transitioned to the Garmin Mini once Delorme was bought by Garmin. Both of those units were nice for backpacking because they were small, paired with my smartphone, and allowed 2-way satellite texting. This thing is on a whole other level though.

Of all the money that I have put into my rig over the last few years, I think that this one item was hands down the best return on investment.
