That one along with the door limiters. If you have ever been in a really strong wind without them and had your door catch the wind while opening, bending the strap attachment post and hit the front fender you know what I mean.
So now I have to add one to my list of things I miss about my JK. The Jeep dimple. :CWL: Even with the door limiters pushed in the mirror will not dent the cowl on the JL/JT like with the JK.

I'm perplexed by the people who like the handles, and those who added the ugly add-ons for JKs. I don't think I've ever reached for the handle. I use the steering wheel to get in, and the fabric straps on the roll bar to support myself off road. The front-placed handles are useless to me. My wife uses the roll bar straps for both, I've never seen her reach for the front handle either.

My #1 feature by far is nothing specific to Jeep--the adaptive cruise. I find myself unreasonably angry when I drive the wife's car without it and have to pace traffic. The adaptive is simply so awesome, and makes driving so much more relaxed. Very chill and comfortable.

I haven't added straps to roll bar on mine because I don't see the need with handles in the front. I use to use the steering wheel in my JKU but those handles are awful convenient in the JT and make it easier for me to get in.

Not everyone is young and agile. My truck is at stock height, but I have the Overland steps, which are a little high. I have to put my left foot on the step, grab the handle and stand up, then stick the right foot in the cab, duck my head down, swing sideways, and then lower myself into the seat. The grab handle is much easier to use for this than the steering wheel.

The ACC is one of the best driver aids available. I use it all the time. The traffic and drivers around here are awful. It keeps me at a safe distance and lets me watch the surrounding traffic so I don't have to worry as much about what's directly in front of me.

I like the feature that I don’t get abysmal gas mileage like I do in my TJ.

I have 2 that are very little things but I enjoy the fact that they got changed from how my JK was and one not so little.

#1 The windshield on my JK had a deep gap between the glass and the window frame. It was a pain in the but to keep that gap clean. Lots of dead bugs got stuck in there. The JT is nice and flush and cleans very easily.

#2 The seatbelts on my JK did not tuck behind the plastic cover on the B Pillar like they do on the JT/JL. On my JK they would flap around and vibrate making a terrible noise with the doors off. I use to tie a bandana around them to make them stop.

#3 For me the fact that the windshield comes off so easily. I am a straight up chicken fart. I am also a bit dumb. These two facts keep me from riding a motorcycle. I enjoy taking my windshield of immensely. Heck I don't even mind when the bugs splatter off of my forehead.
How fast have you driven with the windshield down? I might try this lol.

I agree. I got to use it quite a bit this summer and it’s amazing. My only complaint with it is other vehicles cutting in the gap between myself and the car in front. If they do it close to me, the Jeep actually brakes. I ended up setting the gap to the least amount possible.

Yeah, that is very annoying. Also when idiots kind of sort of pull out, but not with authority, and you know they are crossing your lane to keep going, but the Jeep slows down hard because it can't take risks.

Towing our travel trailer cross country is AWESOME with the ACC. Set it, get in a row of trucks, and just chill.

Yup. I read that it will actually slow all the way to a stop and hold it there for 2 seconds or something. Have yet to test that out.

I don't take it down. I take it off and leave it at home where it belongs.

I topped her off at 97MPH one day. I will not do this again as the cheap plastic pieces around the rear view mirror started to flex and become misshapen. It was a blast though:rock:. I have decided that 60MPH is my new top speed with the windshield off.

Oh and if your a copper the answer is 55MPH:stop: 55 Mph is the speed that I was traveling officer sir. Your thing-a-ma-do must be broken.

Yes, ACC stops completely, holds for two seconds, beeps and tells you to take over, then releases the brakes. I'm going to test it one day to see if it will actually then hit something if you don't take over. Once traffic is moving, you can release the brake and hit "resume" to have it take over again.

I've also had the emergency braking engage once, a truck turned left in front of me and I barely missed it. Good job, Jeep.
