no no. Not the vehicle mounted kind. The walk behind kind.
Ah, ok. I know all types exist for lawn tractors and so on - PTO driven, hydraulically driven, electric and so on. I figured hey, that would be really cool to use - a snow blower on the front of a Jeep. But then I was still on my first cup of coffee.............

i dont have a lawn tractor. Wish i did. Nobody makes small ones anymore. The smallest bobcat with a rear backhoe attachment is priced out at over 50k. Too much for me. I wish craftsman still made lawn tractors with a backhoe….

Well looks like home plow is my only option. Nobody around that is a dealer for the other options such as western or boss - closest dealer is 4 hours away, so that's not happening. Even with that they won't work with a Jeep (TJ or JT).

Man it is nearly impossible to find services in this state.

Western absolutely will work with a JT - can't speak to TJ.
I have a Western Defender on mine - 0 issues.
Take a close look at some of the plows - you'll find brand X is sometimes a re-labeled brand Y.
Nearly identical, only a bit different.

I understand dealer proximity is important to you........... it wasn't so much to me as I can order parts from almost anywhere and frankly, I could have gotten the same plow I have now from an internet dealer for about the same price with shipping. But I opted for local because I could get it sooner (I waited until late fall to get it)

Ironically, when I drove my JT over to them to pick up the final parts, one of the guys came out to take a look as he said "we've never mounted one of these on a Jeep".
Made me glad I did it myself.
He wanted to see how clean the install went. I told him of a very slight notch needed in two brackets to not rub the steel bumper, but with a plastic bumper, 0 notches or mods would be needed.

I looked around for western and boss and both of them said no direct sales - so the only dealers are many hours away. Even the only dealer for home plow said they needed full price up front and shipping is probably $1,000 (that insane) because they rarely order these small plows. I did call one of them just to see and they basically said they wouldn't place an order for a TJ. I really dont want to put it on the JT since I have a lot going on up front already with the winch and Warn bumper, plus the JT is my main go to town rig and I wouldnt want to unhook all the time for a trip to town. So I was really looking for the TJ since it's my local vehicle. I think it mostly just speaks to my particular area sucks big time for getting services. On top of a lot of lazy people who dont want to do any work more than looking at their computer of the obvious. It's funny, the dealer that used to work with western even said "oh yeah I know they make them theres a few people here in town who have western plows on their older 2 door Jeeps". lol....but then say no to looking those options up.

There's a few internet sellers of these plows. No need to go direct.

Those folks sell plows and ship 'em
A forum member (Francis, can't recall his forum handle) recommended them to me a year or so back.

Not trying to talk you into anything at all - just passing along what another member shared with me as far as his experiences plowing with Wrangler, etc. and where he bought stuff from.

The only way to make a sound decision on anything is to have information and choices.
