this is my weekend getaway so after I’m done I wash her and she sits covered in the driveway waiting for next weekend. I live 1/4 mile from the hills so sometimes we do Friday night rides because we can’t wait for Saturday to get out.
My weekday beater is jealous.

Found a good mud hole on my last trip.
it was fun blasting through but the cleanup was a lot of work.
Two times with the power wash and then to the car wash with a wipe down afterwards. It still needed another wet wash on the rubber and plastic to get the film off.
Migjt kinda give me second thoughts next time.

We get those really cool dirt rain storms along with me usually flying down some washboard rutted muddy road that haunts me to a $4.00 touchless car wash two blocks from my house that feeds my OCD (7am-9am only 7 days a week) Like it dirty like it clean.

I recently replaced the oil cooler on a Wrangler at work. The outside of that Jeep was clean, but under the oil cooler was actual MUD. Not dust or engine grime, but for real mud. I guess the owner read the badge as saying, "Mud Rated" instead of "Trail Rated".

Seem to remember a thread here or another forum not sure where. Guy got huge splash up under the hood and it screwed up some electronics . Warranty work was denied. Just saying . They intend to go through but not high speed force .. again just saying. May get yourself in a jam.

No salt yet - that's yet to come.
That's mud from a backroad. Funny thing is, it was straight driving so there was little chance to get dirty along the sides and the mud flaps and power steps do a lot of protecting.

Bringing this back up from the dead…….

It’s driving me crazy that I haven’t been able to wash Izzy for a month or more!!! Izzy is all covered in road salt and its been in the 20’s. I hate going to the local automatic car washes!!

Trail and regular mud, road dirt….I don’t mind as much. The Salt?? I absolutely hate it!!

I need to get me one of those underbody sprinkler things!!
