He had an Eco-Diesel that blew up before trading into the gasser.
Yep... my 2022 Overland EcoDiesel blew the HPFP around 9500 miles. Dealer bought it back from me and I picked up a gasser. The gasser lasted almost 3 months. The diesel was the perfect engine for the Gladiator short of a 5.7 or 6.4 V8 which will likely never be offered as a factory option.

Auction price is about $40k. I think your mid-40s ballpark is right.
Fingers crossed - I hope you're right. Carvana's offer of $34,000+ would have put $7-10,000 pure profit in their pocket instead equity into mine!

Carvana and CarMax offered me around 35-36k for my 2021 Overland with 7500 miles. Even Driveway.com, which has always offered the most, only went to 40k. I sold it private party for $42.5k a couple weeks ago.

With a new model year arriving and 2023s marked down a ton, I was happy to get that.

How is the cabin space and view over the hood? The one thing I can't stand about the Gladiator is the cramped driver's seat. My head rests against the sound bar and hits the hardtop, even with the seat all the way down. More driver comfort is the top reason I'd switch to a full-size.

Night and day difference. The Ram is spacious, the seats are amazing and I’m no longer hugging the wheel. The hood is large but visibility is good in all directions.

Carvana offered me $35k+ for my 2020 stock Rubicon w/42,000 miles. I've never even heard of Driveway.com so I'll check them out but I doubt they'll be much higher because of the miles.

Yesterday I bought a used 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country with the 3.0 Duramax but all the way down in San Diego. Used it to tow the Gladiator back to LA but that was easy because the Jeep is set up to be used as a toad with our RV. Obviously the Chevy will NOT be.

I truly like my Gladiator but I realized pretty quickly after buying it in June 2021 with 15,000 miles that it was too small inside for extended trips. But now my girlfriend's back is giving her trouble due to osteoporosis and that's not going to get better. The Jeep's rougher ride made it a necessary change. Oh well, at least I had it a couple years.

Same manufacture for the Ram (Italy). Poor build quality, they also build the 4 cyl Chevy. Buyer beware. My Dodge lasted 7k.
