This may be a dumb question that is right in front of my face if someone could help me. So I want to put a full size spare on the truck. Spare will be 37” k02. Are ppl just mounting them to the stock spare wheel that comes with it? Will it fit on the stock spare wheel?

It will, but if you want a five way rotation, getting a fifth matching wheel would be required. K02s run small and several people have had no issues fitting a 37 under the bed. My Mickey Thomson 37 fits there as well, but it’s snug.

And I was going to order a fifth matching wheel, but again it’s been a long day how the hell do you mount it in the spare location if it doesn’t have the big space where on a normal wheel the center cap would be?

All wheels have that hole, if they’re compatible wheels, meaning hub centric wheels.

I have 37" Wildpeak M/Ts. They wouldn't fit with the factory track bar. Get this and you'll have no issues: https://www.claytonoffroad.com/product/jeep-gladiator-adjustable-rear-track-bar-2020-jt-0
I would recommend putting your spare in the bed when you wheel though. Otherwise you'll likely drag it instead of the bumper.
I have that track bar. The oem one still allowed the spare to fit, but not at full articulation. I’ve never hit the spare tire off road. I hit my hitch skid instead.

Yep. I’m still using rubicon wheels. I bought a 5th one from a forum member for the spare. I just pop out the center of the one being rotated into spare position.

Any time. Just in case you have this question, yes, you can put a 5th TPMS sensor in the spare and not cause any problems. No programming. The receivers detect rotating sensors only.

Word of warning if you're running JK wheels.
While a matching JT or JL wheel will work as a spare, a JK wheel won't. The pop out center on a JK wheel is smaller and and the spare tire bracket won't fit through.

wonderer, done working
Your right, the JK wheel wont work as spare. I sold all 5 of my wheel/tires as a matched set. Bought 4 new proper size for me. Then found out JK wheel I had doesnt work for the above reason. So I took a sawsall and notched out two sections of the small hole 180 degrees apart so the spare tire carrier could slip thru to lock it in place under bed.
