Speaker upgrades with stock system

I believe I have the base stereo with the amplifier in it, as I have a factory sub. Looking to see if there are speakers that plug and play and add better sound, as opposed to having to do entire system upgrades. Any recommendations on speaker upgrades for a '23 Willys? Thanks gang.

New 3.5" speakers in the dash and sound bar go a long way toward improving the sound. The Infinity reference get excellent reviews. If you buy from Crutchfield they come with the adapters that make them plug and play. You can upgrade the knee speakers, but that involves taking apart the whole dash. You can also upgrade the sound bar to 6.5" or 6x9s using adapters, but I find the larger speakers need to be driven by a larger amp to really sound good.

I did the Infinity Reference (parent company is Harmon) and they've been great.
They do not come with screens, so if you keep a nasty dash then they may not be for you.
Crutchfield's has other upgrades as well, and you can choose by vehicle.

Spend a little extra and get an amp. Makes a huge difference in volume and clarity.

My buddy has these in his Gladiator, they sound REALLY good.

There's another thread on the dash speakers.
Some have used the Mopar speakers 68043045AD from RAM trucks and and Chargers to upgrade their dash speakers. They're the same plug and size, but apparently better quality.

If your interested in some soundbar speakers and kick panel speakers let me know. I have the pods for the kick panel with Polk Audio in them and the soundbar i have the pods with MB quart tweeters and Polk Audio speakers in it for sale.

You'll defenitly want an amp for them. I installed them and it just didn't sound good and went to a professional audio place and they said i picked good stuff but to make it sound good you need a dedicated amp.

Any suggestions on an amp to get for it. I have had good luck in the past with just powering up stock units on other trucks. Not very technically inclined on doing stereo work. But if it's easier to do I can take a swing at it.

Are you only replacing 4 speakers if you do it? This 50x4 Kicker amp is a good buy for the money.

If you have the factory subwoofer then you already have an amp. I have the same and it's great with upgraded speakers plus some poly fill behind each.. Try the speakers first then consider a better amp later if needed.

What head unit do you have? You said you have a sub, but the base system? I thought you needed the Alpine system to get the sub.
