Might want to check the polarity. A lot of people have found that the Gladiators wires are backwards.
As I recall the connections are different sizes so they can only connect one way.

Right, but the connections can be wired backwards. You would have to splice them if thats the case. There is an app you can get on your phone to check polarity.

Sure, this was my setup. But there are many kicker, infinity, etc in the same price range based on what you keep original size or upgrade to larger. Only have front pods in now, will have dash 3.5's in this weekend (waiting on correct connector). Maybe soundbar this weekend as well. Sub in a few weeks (probably Christmas holiday as I have some time off)

Front Dash:
JBL Club 3020 3.5 ($36)

Front Kick panel (like I said most skip this part):
JBL Club 6520 ($48)
6.5" pods ($60)

Sound Bar (either replace 3.5 and 4", or go larger with 6.5 or 6x9):
JBL Club 8620 6x9 ($64), this requires the cutting of the sound bar. And these adapters below

6x9 Adapters ($70):

There is also this adapter if you want 6.5 or component in soundbar ($99)
Sub:
Kicker 46H10 10" compact ($332), saved 150 with prime sign up so ($282)

That brings me to about $560 without tax, shipping (free with Prime), and misc connectors and cables to run power to sub. That is replacing all speakers out, and upgrading kickers to 6.5 and soundbar to 6x9. But like I said there are many 3.5 and 4 inch speakers for 40-100 dollars each to replace the 8 main 3.5 and 4's, but if you take out the dash to replace the 4", go with the new 6.5 pods ;)

Thanks so much, damn good info, I'm going to get some of this on order.

The Crutchfield site says the JL audio C2 350s do not fit, but they do. I had Kenwood 3.5s in the dash and sound bar. With a JL audio 6" sub and it was good, but on of the Kenwoods let go, so I thought I would order the JL audio C2s and see how bad the fit was. They dropped right in, and in typical JL fashion, even though the specs on paper look inferior to the others, the sound is not. I find I am not blasting the music as much anymore, as the detail comes out clear at lower levels. There is more warmth and bottom end at moderate levels, which is a trait commonly found with JL audio.

To check polarity you can connect any 1.5 volt battery across the speaker. When you have it connected where the cone goes outward with the battery connected, the terminal thats going to the battery + will be the audio +. So check the stock speaker to see what wire was connected to the + then put that to the new speaker +.

So I just added Kicker 6x9's in the soundbar, Kicker 6x5's in the dash down by my knees, and a Kenwood amp. I like the 7.4 display and with the amp and new speakers, the sound is loud, bright and I can hear it with the top off. Spent less than $800 on the upgrade. You don't have to spend a fortune to get the system to sound good.

Just wanted to let you know. I pulled the soundbar today. The MBQuart adapters are made for 6x9 speakers, the ones I have are only 6x8. I could have gotten it to install but I would have had to leave some extra plastic, and put two screws correctly, and a 3rd in plastic. Just wanted to let you know, in case you bought the same 6x8, hopefully you chose a better 6x9.

Here is more details
