Speedometer recalibration Question?

I need some help? I’m going from 255x75x17 tires to 34x10.5x17 tires. Dealership said they don’t recalibrate? Referred me to a shop. My 4x4 shop doing the lift says they don’t do it but will sell and install a Taser for me to do it at 300.00! I don’t need all the stuff the taser can do. Just need to recalibrate so the truck shifts right and knows how fast I’m going! Am I over thinking this? Any suggestions will help!

Still cheaper than the Taser... but if you want to do "cool" Taser stuff like line-lock the brakes, burnouts and cool donuts that tear up the trail you'll need the Taser.

JSCAN license (in app purchase) - $25

Download JSCAN app, get the license, apply your VIN, then you should be able to follow the steps in the video below to change the tire size. However check the first comment to that video from a JSCAN employee. You don’t need to do all the crazy ECU reset crap after changing the tire size in JSCAN.

All that's left is to download the JScan app... once you connect it to the OBD adapter it will ask you if you want to license the VIN... say yes and pay them either with Google Play (if Android) or Apple App Store if you're an iPhone user

I swear if some of the people who needed this were closer to me - I'd say bring it by and I'll connect and change the tire size and help them get it set correctly.
I can use AlfaOBD on as many vehicles as I want as it's not tied to any vin or model.

Since I have the more expensive MX+ adapter maybe I should sell my Vgate iCar Pro really cheap.....

Honestly, I have a tazer, but the dealership calibrated mine. It was $125. Now it shows on my build sheet.
