The tazer must be plugged in at all time to work?
Do you have adaptive cruise control?
I have 37 KO2s on mine and I have adaptive cruise control. I calibrated it with a Tazer and took off the Tazer. When I reinstalled the Tazer the tire size was still set for 37s. I have run it with the Tazer in and out and there have been no issues with the ACC.

By the way. I would measure the actual tire size, not just put in 37 for 37s as they are not actually 37 inches tall.

Agree, yes you can change tire size with Tazer JL and remove. No it does not plug into the ODBII port. The JL Mini plugs into two small plugs under the driver dash. They are kind of a PITA to get to. You can program and then remove. It only needs to stay plugged in for the "Live" features that are listed on the site/page linked above.

Also agree put the correct accurate size in there. Most manufactures list the actual size on their site...so most 37s aren't 37"
