I bought Bi LED Headlams almost immediately. These are definately the best bang for the buck. They are a true 9 inch LED and they work flawlessly. The high beams are brighter than my lightbar.

Then I started the Axle Build Phase.


Gears, Lockers, even the first ever 35 spline shaft upgrades. I hope this helps Jeepers for years to come and to help new Jeep owners to understand why axles are such a big deal and require a lot of money for gear installs. This is for the Sport and Rubicons as the gears, axles, and lockers are all the same. Its the width and axle tube thickness on the OUTSIDE that are different. All JT axles are 32 spline. All JT axles are M210 front and M220 rear. Also surprisingly the Nissan Titan and Ford Bronco use Dana Spicer AdvanTEK axles.

Info Note:
Sport and S, Willys, Overland, the 80th, (non max tow) gasoline and diesels all have the standard width axles and only offer 3.73 gear ratio.
Only the Sport S w/ Max Tow, Rubicon, Mojave, and High Altitude have a thicker tubed (10mm), 1.5" Wide Track Axle. Gasoline are 4.10 gear ratio... all High Altitude’s and all Diesels are 3.73.

DIFF
The RD245 32 Spline and RD246 35 Spline are interchangeable rear to front and front to rear. You can change only the diff between the M210 and M220.

GEARS
The ring gear is not interchangeable. A M210 has to go in the front and the M220 has to go in the rear.

SHAFTS
Rubicon, Max Tow, and Mojave have thiccc boy tubes and are .75 wider per side. The diff inside is also offset.
!!!!You will need new shafts to run ARB lockers of any kind!!!!
ARB246 requires custom 35 Spline shafts

Sport and S, Willys, Overland, 80th, (non max tow), narrow axles. Still as strong at 32 Spline but must be ordered for ARB Super kits.
!!!!!! You CAN use stock shafts for ARB 245 front and rear!!!!!!!!
ARB246 requires custom 35 Spline shafts.

I then started work on my rear axle. This was the first 35 Spline rear shafts installed in a JT. Using RD246 ARB "Super" Lockers. These axles measure out at 1.5 inches, the stock Rubicon and Sport Shafts are 1.35 inches. Still very strong in stock form; however, these axles are leaps and bounds better. I also worked on my 4.88 gear install, as well as how to install ARB air locker components into an Advantek JL JT rear M220 Axle. Enjoy.

These are the videos with more indepth install notes on getting the Lockers and Actuators to work all together. I also threw together many videos of how the old dana 44 axles from the tj and previous generations differ from todays high end dana 60 sized parts. The dana 44 of today known as the advantek axles from Dana are way stronger than years prior. They are an amazing work of art. The wrong spacer can make or break the look of your truck, fine tune the suspension and get it just right.

I used the Daystar 3/4 inch spacer. The others may be right for you; however, this is why you may not want to go with a 1.5 inch spacer. Parts used Daystar 3/4" spacer. https://amzn.to/3vr95pl

I finally took the plunge and bought 37 inch Cooper STT PRO. The 35 General Grabbers were great but the size is more than expected on the 37s and the outcome is glorious.

Mopar Highline Fender Kit for the Gladiator, took the room I needed for bigger tires to a whole new level. The kit gave me 2.75 inches of extra room for big flex and really made the truck look so much more aggressive.

Height in the Rear is an extra 1.25" of space.

Tazer Update, Install, and Settings were required for the Led Strip Fender Lights that are found on the Rubicon. After the install, everything works just like a Rubicon.

I put the new gears to the test in my 4.88 and 37s gear video. I was working on the complete package and figured I would well setup. I might as well see how close to stock it was. It was very impressive, a little slower but felt very powerful. I am loving the 4.88 gears.

I then added JKS Quick Disconnects. These are model 2033 is for JT Gladiator and JL Wrangler. These things are bullet proof, adjustable, and make going off-road awesome.

So I installed wheel spacers because the Mopar wheels that I have been using up to this point were really tight, especially with 37s. When I would turn lock to lock I would rub ever so slightly. This gave me 3.75 inches of backspacing and made a ton of room behind my trucks front tires. I didnt know it at the time but its also how much backspacing you want for 39 or 40 inch tires.
