I had an issue when I transmitted my CB it would cause the check engine light to illuminate and light up the dashboard like a Christmas Tree. It would also put the JT into limp mode until it was restarted. After swapping out CB radios, moving the radio to various location within the Jeep, checking for grounds, connecting power directly to the battery, and, verifying proper SWR, the problem was finally isolated to the Sprint Booster throttle controller. Once I removed the Sprint Booster the CB worked fine and did not cause any errors on the dashboard. I contacted Sprint Booster and made them aware of the issue. I figured if I got a response at all it would be something along the lines of “not our problem”, “don’t use a CB”, etc. That was not the case. They immediately reached out to get some additional information and over a 1 month period sent me two separate test units with the second unit fixing the issue. Big shoutout to Norman at Sprint Booster for all the help and outstanding customer support.
