Staging Area - Local Sections Not showing anywhere else?

I just noticed that I made a post in the New England Section but is does not show up in Trending, New Posts. Posts in the Stagin Area seem to get lost unless you actually go in there. Is there a way to make it show in more places, more responses?

Please move if this is not the right spot. Also, dumb question I could not figure out, how do you contact the mods?

I see, normally I go to News then Forums. News because that’s what comes up first when going to the site, forums to see what else is going on. Just figured it would show on one of those two. But I will check there more. Thanks.
