My instrument cluster panel beside my speedometer went out on Friday. I cannot see any details at all but the light will still come on. Now my start stop is not working. Could this be related?

I would think the dash cluster is the reason your ESS stopped working. You are going to have to fix the cluster issue first. It looks like a replacement is the repair. Warranty, recall, or on your dime. As someone else has mentioned, you can send yours out to be repaired. I know Warranty is not an option for you, so I would just have it replaced and save your receipt.

Are you in an older sport? If it's the old 5 inch cluster they just put out a recall on that

Have you checked all the fuses and made sure that they are all firmly seated in the fuse box? I had a little bit of flashing and strange occurances with my display, when I checked the fuses every one of them needed to be seated. It might not have anything to do with your problem but it will make you feel better once you "pop" all of them as well as the relays into their fully seated positions. And, it costs nothing!
