i love my Glad diesel and only bought because of this drivetrain. No antiquated, self-destructing mini van engines for me in a modern vehicle. Seriously ... a 25 year old engine. I love my diesel and pray every day no one hits it or steals it, because I would need to go to Toyota or Ford for a replacement. Heck ... I honestly don't think Jeep will have a competitive engine (not antiquated and inefficient classic V-8's) until way past my next purchase around Jan 2028. Just sad.
My bad ... the Pentastar is ONLY 17 years old!!! Hahahaha

First of all, Zybane,
thank you for your service.

As for Jeep Wranglers or Gladiators,
I put them in the same category
as motorcycles.

Do not get one
unless you have a burning desire for one.

Why no diesel???

I have read so much about Stellantis and its desire to move to electric and hybrid vehicles so the diesel was dropped. But in reality, there is still a market for it. Do you think there is any chance it will be available again? I mean, it's already there, shouldn't need that much work to bring it up to date if it even needs to be changed.

What is Stellantis losing by not offering it again? Is it possibly higher warranty costs for them? That can be my only thought or reason on why they won't offer it.
