heres a similar thread from the jl site...pics show that it works but never answered the skid plate question... looks like a jk skid plate just looking at the pics but could be totally wrong

They are nice bumpers and i know people have used them on their jt.. would be worth starting a thread to find out what they used for a skid plate

Definitely, as soon as I get home from work I'll check the part number on the bumper. I can then see which skid plate will fit.

Do a search in the jt and jl forum for 10A bumper... i think it said as long as you arent installing a winch the rubi skid plate for the plastic bumper will work but def dont take my word for it because i have no first hand knowledge on it

Just confirmed the part number #68195896AC on my bumper which is indeed a JK Rubicon steel bumper. I'll start a new thread detailing info on what skid plate will work . Thank for you for all the help guys!

Do you think the Rivnuts are needed only if you're going to actually install a winch plate?

Im not sure about the rubicon, on the sport s you do... if your current skud mounts like this the you prob dont

Rubicon comes with all the brackets and rivnuts you need already installed
