I am currently running the EVO 2.5”. I have adjustable front LCA and ear UCA. Adjustable front and rear track bar. Synergy brace. Teraflex steering stabilizer.

Just went from CA to CO and back and the steering was awful. Are certain susp kits better than others for steering? I know it’s a “Jeep thing” but it would be nice to enjoy the ride to the trails also.

Did u have these issues before you played with suspension mods?

FWIW.. as delivered my gladiator was hardly drivable. TSB fixed all. Next week Mopar 2” lift no real change, as far as wandering. Few days later went bigger tires and AT vs MT and all is good.

I did have the same issue before the lift. I have an appointment with my local dealership for the TSB in 2 weeks. Hoping they don’t give me the run around. I’m just wondering if there is a better kit for steering issues. I’ve read about the RK kit having replacement spring perches and am wondering if something like that would help. Also would adjustable front UCA and rear LCA would also help.

Just my thoughts but stop adding variables until Jeep fixes your issue. Also, 2 weeks is ridiculous, explain it’s unsafe and get in sooner.

There is a back order on the TSB part, two weeks is probably how long it's gonna take to get it in. 2 weeks is a reasonable amount of time compared to what some have had to wait.

Let me ask you, I have Evo 2.5" Plush Ride springs and am finding that they induce alot of "head sway" in my JT. I have Clayton arms and track bars, Synergy brace, JKS disconnects, and TSB done. It drives fine on straight highway trips, but on back roads, it nearly makes my GF carsick. It almost rides as if my sway bar is disconnected. I'm wondering if it is the "Plush" part of the springs having a lower spring rate. I'm thinking of switching to Clayton springs which I believe have a higher rate.

I know exactly what your describing. On my JKU, I bought it with a cheap lift already on. Those springs were too soft and I could never get my steering right. Later I upgraded the shocks then the springs to something stiffer, and it was night and day difference. Instantly drove like it was on tracks!

I firmly believe the softer springs cause over correction even on the slightest curves and correcting it going right only caused you to go left more and vice versa.

Well your dealer isn't likely to do anything now that it's been lifted. They will blame the issue on the lift and send you down the road. Should have had it addressed first and then lifted it. Or remove the lift and get it fixed, and reinstall the lift and see what's what. I mean maybe they look past the lift and get the warranty work but probably not.

And no, your issue isn't likely from control arms. It's either the steering box if you had it before... or your springs and shocks are softer than you would like and are inducing more body roll.

And it could be both the steering box and soft springs/shocks.

You had the problem before adding the lift, the lift is going to magnify the problem.

Hold your evaluation of the lift until after you get the steering fixed. Don't make any changes to the lift adjustable parts until after you get the steering fixed.

I am definitely waiting. I’m taking my synergy brace off before I take it in and I just purchased the steer smarts trackbar, tie rod and drag link with the attenuator. I’ll install those after as well.
